Norwegian centre Bio4Fuels open
February 9th was the date for the launch of Bio4Fuels, a Centre for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) based at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). The centre is lead by SINTEF and aims to develop innovative technology and support industries to realize economic and sustainable conversion of lignocellulosis biomass and organic residues to transportation fuels, along with added value chemicals, heat and power.
Johanna Mossberg, director of f3, was invited to speak at the Kick-off meeting. Her presentation, as well as a number of other speakers contributions to the two day program, can be accessed via Bio4Fuels website.
