f3 researchers debate demands on fossil fuels

In an article in Ny Teknik, published May 28th, KTH researchers Elisabeth Ekener Petersen and Göran Finnveden debate the different demands put on fossil fuels compared to renewable fuels. The authors rely on results from their recently finished f3 project Social and socioeconomic impacts from vehicle fuels that came to the conclusion that there are substantial negative social impacts from fossil fuels, at the same levels as for biofuels, and that the country of origin seemed to be of more importance that the type of fuel.
