Welcome Ingrid Nohlgren, new centre manager for f3

Right before christmas, it was announced that Ingrid Nohlgren will be the new f3 centre manager.

- I feel very exited with the opportunity to develop the work within f3, specifically when it comes to collaboration within the centre network and also with other stakeholders in the field, Ingrid says. Big challanges, like the transition to a transport sector independent of fossil fuels, demands new approaches and collaborations between stakeholders that maybe haven't worked together earlier.

– To be the f3 centre manager and enable this, together with the centre office, is something that i really look forward to.

Ingrids experience from academic research as well as collaborative projects is a suitable background for her new role. During the past six years she has worked as a consultant manager responsible for budget and deliveries at WSP. Ingrid has also been the project leader for a number of investigations and pilot studies on sustainable renewable transportation fuels, of which several have been interdisciplinary with a shared focus on technology, market and profitability aspects, and the impact of policy measures.

- I think that my diverse background makes it possible for me to be the link between stakeholders from the academic field as well as industry and authorities, and that I can lead the f3 centre towards the goals that have been set up, Ingrid says.

In f3's ambition to contribute to acheiving a fossil independent transport sector, it is Ingrids opinion that the right decisions need to be made, and that we keep moving in the right direction with guidance from today's available knowledge. The aggregated knowledge that exists within the f3 partner network can constitute a basis for well grounded desicions made by politicians, authorities, industry stakeholders and other organisations.

- In that way f3 can help in order for the right decisions to be made - that is where I think we can make a big difference.

Ingrid started her assignment at the f3 office on 29 January. Find her contact details here.
