Evaluation of biofuel production costs in relation to the new reduction obligation quota system

This project has aimed to illustrate how GHG performance of biofuels is related to market value in the new Swedish reduction obligation system. Another objective has been to compare CO2 abatement costs for low and high blend biofuels in order to obtain an indication of socio-economic cost of different options looking at the whole road transport sector.
