Bio-SNG production by means of biomass gasification combined with MCEC technique

Electrochemical molten carbonate cells (MCEC) can be a cost-effective process solution for cleaning/upgrading of gas in systems for production of bio-SNG from biomass. The study evaluates the technical, economic and environmental conditions for this, comparing a general process concept to a corresponding reference process, based on classical techniques.
